For Gifted High School Singers

The Woods House Conservatory of Music is proud to present its 4th annual Julian Patrick Summer Workshop for Gifted High School Singers. Julian Patrick, noted baritone, passed away in 2009.  He had performed worldwide with major opera companies including the Metropolitan Opera, Houston Grand Opera, Dallas Opera and Seattle Opera.  He was also an experienced vocal educator. The one-week intensive camp, administered by chosen faculty, offers dedicated high school vocal students an opportunity to explore the many facets involved in developing the singer's art, and helps them prepare for study at the college and professional level.  These series of classes and workshops are aimed at young singers who are considering a career in vocal performance or vocal music education.
